Dear Friends,
As an EMS Provider, whitewater guide and ski patroller, I have seen first hand how important LifeFlight is to communities across our state. I'm reaching out to ask you to contribute to LifeFlight of Maine, if you are able.
As a part of their "Crossing for LifeFlight" fundraiser, all over the state, people are hiking, paddling, biking, swimming (and donating) to show their support. Next week, in a nod to the original “Islesboro Crossing” I am going to swim a 5k (3.1 miles) with a group of “Team North Haven” swimmers.
My family is dedicated to supporting this non-profit because LifeFlight is a critically important part of Maine’s medical infrastructure: providing hospital-to-hospital transports and scene responses, including many such responses over the years to North Haven Island to transport seriously ill and injured patients.
