For those that don’t know me, my name is Michelle, and I’m a nurse with LifeFlight of Maine. LifeFlight of Maine is a nonprofit organization and the state’s only emergency medical helicopter service. There are many challenges associated with bringing ICU-level care to all corners of Maine.
This August, I will be participating in my own challenge of biking 100 miles and fundraising $350 as a way to symbolize the difficulties of providing lifesaving emergency medical care to Maine's many islands and rural communities.
