Story

On May 11, 2026 my husband was life flighted after suffering a life threatening aortic dissection. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the incredible medical staff at Pen Bay, LifeFlight of Maine, and Maine Medical center, he did not survive. He did not have insurance to cover his life flight. However, I was graciously awarded financial assistance from LifeFlight. I am participating in this 5K fundraiser to give back and help other families who may face the same need.
